Day 27: Your fitness routine.
This one made me laugh. I can honestly say I don’t have a fitness routine of any kind.
I’m the kind of person who can’t stick with anything for long. I usually give up after trying something once.
I woke up once at 5AM to go running before work. Once. I never tried that again. Mainly because every thing about it was awful. Running; cold; early.
I bought a yoga mat with the aim of doing yoga every evening. Again, I done this once.
I joined a fitness class with my friend, and while I done this for a decent amount of time, I never done it regularly enough for it to make an impact.
I tried going swimming at 6AM before work once. AGAIN, only once.
In January of this year I joined the gym. I’m surprised they let me, they probably get so many people joining in January after their New Years resolution and then quitting like I did. I quit in February. So I didn’t last very long. But to be fair this was mainly due to the fact I couldn’t afford it. I had just moved out and my rent is quite expensive.
I do want to get fit, I would love to have a great body, but I seriously lack any kind of motivation.
I want to try swimming again as this is something that I do love doing. Maybe at some point I will try again (let’s be honest though, who am I trying to kid?).
